It’s a glistening snowy winter evening and Max and Ruby have been anxiously waiting for the most spectacular event of the year: seeing The Nutcracker ballet with Grandma. Imagine their disappointment when a snow storm keeps them at home! A story of the Nutcracker will have to do! So vivid is Grandma’s storytelling that the characters in the ballet come to life right before their very eyes! Max and Ruby marvel at the sight of many enchanting guests, including a Spanish bullfighter, the Sugar Plum Fairy and a runaway gingerbread man. Ruby is eager to participate in their exquisite dance, but it’s Max who steals the show! Whether it was the sweets, or their lively imaginations, Max and Ruby head off to bed with visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads!
I don’t know about you, but I know my 4-year-old boy is going to love this Christmas extravaganza. The Max and Ruby television show on Treehouse TV has been a favourite in our home for the past couple of years so I can’t wait to see these characters come to life and enchant our children. Local performances of Max and Ruby in the Nutcracker Suite include:
- November 9, at 3:30 and 6:30 at the Bell Performing Arts Center in Surrey, BC
- November 10, at 1 pm and 4 pm at The Center for Performing Arts in Vancouver, BC

My daughter is obsessed with Max and Ruby, when I had my son, Makayla would call herself Ruby and her brother Max! I thought it was so cute. I would take my 2 kids and Grandma!
My 2 year old loves Max and Ruby! If I won I would definitely take him, his baby brother and my husband! 🙂
I would take my 3 year old and his 2 year old cousin and his Mom for a fun trip! They love Max and Ruby!
I would love to take my 2 year son to the show. He absolutely loves Max and Ruby. Hopefully we can win the tickets.
I would LOVE to take my youngest son to this he is especially fond of Max and Ruby. We would end up taking the whole family though 😀 all four of us!
I would love to take my daughter. She loves Max and Ruby. She says her cousin Connor who mostly talks in single words is her “Max”. We would go with her little cousin Connor for sure.
I would take my daugther and my in-laws. They take care of her often so it’ll be a nice treat for us to go enjoy a show together.
My daughter often gigled through the Max and Ruby show on TV. She always compares her little brother with Max. I will definitely take both of them and my husband to the show.
I would take two of my grandaughters. They are the younger ones who love Max and Ruby. One of the names my grandaughter has picked out for the baby sister she has coming is Ruby.
I’d take my little family. 🙂 My daughter doesn’t know who Max and Ruby are yet, but I’m sure she’d love the show!
I would take my daughter, hubby and mother-in-law (who helps out with babysitting whenever we are in a crunch). It would be a nice thank you for hubby’s mother and an exciting show for our 2 year old! Great giveaway! Thanks!
I would love to take my Daughter Max and Ruby and a great source of laughter in our house being one of the very few mommy approved shows
