Easy Holiday Appy: Baked Brie with Chocolate Raspberry Balsamic Spread

I am all about low maintenance recipes over the holidays. After spending a couple days working on Christmas dinner, I am ready to relax. This easy appetizer has only two ingredients and looks amazing on your table.

Baked Brie with Balsamic Spread


1 round of brie cheese (or substitute Camembert)
2 – 4 tbsp Chocolate Raspberry Balsamic Spread (by Edible Gardens)

What to do:

Unwrap your round of brie cheese. Scoop the spread on top and bake for 8-10 minutes  in an oven-safe dish at 325 degrees.

Remove from the oven carefully. Transfer to a pretty plate and serve with your favourite crackers. I recently discovered Gone Crackers as well as the Edible Garden spread at Whole Foods in Vancouver. Edible Garden products may also be found at Thrifty Foods.


Tip:  If you can’t find the balsamic spread at your local store, you can always substitute red pepper jelly.
