i love decorating gingerbread houses and painting ornaments 🙂 something to cherish for a lifetime.
I love going to the Bright Nights Train in Stanley Park, it was our daughter’s first time this year and she loved it! Can’t wait to go again next year with her.
We love going to look at the lights in north Van and then having some hot chocolate with our boys!
As a family we’ve decided to take a new tradition to do every year-celebrating Advent with short stories, reflection and taking quiet time to be truly thankful for all the blessings we are so fortunate to have.
I love tree decorating and playing in the snow.
I love driving around and looking at the Christmas decorations, decorating the christmas tree, baking cookies and cooking the turkey.
My favorite tradition with my (under 3) kids, sending baby formula to the food bank. We have a minor celebration that we don’t need these baby things any more 😉
My favorite tradition with my parents… oh would have to be a tie between putting out tiny Darth Vader with the Peanuts ornaments or having reigndeer poop with my brother (funny what weirdness creeps into the holidays).
Looking forward to new traditions!!!
Giving to Share with toys and the foodbank is a family tradition for us as well. There but for the grace of God go I…
Eating. Definitely eating and conversation.
Turkey!!
Christmas craft fairs, Stanley park Christmas train, the gingerbread house display at the Hyatt, the Christmas tree display at the four seasons, peak of Christmas at too of Grouse mountain and I could keep going….
Storytelling while coming together with family and friends.
When ivwas little my favorite tradition was to sing Christmas songs very early in the morning in different houses where we were invite
Hmm… my favorite holiday activities are really just the simple things. Setting up the tree, baking Christmas cookies and watching Christmas movies with my loved ones 🙂
I live far away from my children who are all studying here in Canada. This year will be one of our favorite Christmases as we are celebrating it together as a family. We’ll be able to enjoy the traditional meals together, decorate our place with Christmas lights, go to mass, prepare gifts for one another. Being in Canada, we will surely explore new things to do.
That sounds wonderful Ethel! I hope you enjoy your visit in Canada!
love the holiday baking, and entertaining family and friends!
