We are proud Canadians and love celebrating Canada Day. In past years, we have taken part in amazing celebrations in Burnaby, Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and New Westminster. If you are looking for Canada Day activities in the area you really can’t go wrong. Here’s the rundown of what’s happening for Canada Day events in 2015:

Location: Rocky Point Park

Celebrate Canada’s 148th birthday at beautiful Rocky Point Park this July 1, 2015! Canada Day in Coquitlam

Date: July 1, 2015
Time: 12 pm – 10:30 pm
Location: Town Centre Park

Celebrate Canada’s 148th birthday with Coquitlam in a fun-filled day of festival favourites including a great entertainment lineup, food, adventure zone (hot air balloon rides!) cultural village, artisans, hands on arts activities, living flag and completing the day with a spectacular fireworks display… more

Canada Day in Port Coquitlam

Date:  July 1, 2015
Time:  8-11 am
Location:  Lions Park

Lions Club Pancake Breakfast – Enjoy a great start to Canada Day with a delicious breakfast served by the local Lions Club. $5 for adults, $3 for children under 10yrs.

14th Annual Fishing Derby – Children under 10 get to fish in the Coquitlam River at this fun annual event. Bring your rods and enter prize draws. Free admission!

Date: July 1, 2015
Time: noon – dusk
Location: Castle Park

Tons of fun including opening ceremony and cake cutting at noon followed by community showcase, children’s activities (laser tag! activity zone!), international bazaar, food vendors (mini-donuts!), firefighters salmon bbq at 2:30 pm, plus evening entertainment until 10 pm…. more

Canada Day in Burnaby

Location: Burnaby Village Museum

Canada Day in New Westminster

Date:  July 1, 2015
Time: 11:30 – 3:30 pm
Location: Queen’s Park

Join in the fun on Canada Day at Queen’s Park from 11:30- 3:30 pm and head over to Westminster Quay for fireworks at dusk!

Canada Day activities at Queen’s Park includes an entertainment lineup (5 on a String, Shera Kelly, Ammara Dance, Tiger Exhibit, and the Blue Meenies) and community displays. Fun for the whole family! … more

Location: Westminster Quay
