This weekend, my family attended Halloween at Flyover Canada at Canada Place in Vancouver for some family-style Halloween fun.
After standing in line at the popular event, we walked down the haunted hallway into a spooky pre-show chamber where we met Broomelda the Witch and my son learned that all he had to do to graduate and earn his official Witch Academy Diploma was survive…
Before we knew it, we were strapping ourselves into our seats and beginning the Flyover Canada flight simulation ride that would take us on a unique aerial tour of Canada’s spectacular landscapes from sea to snow capped mountains and prairies to sea. We felt like we were flying as we soared across Canada for the next 8 minutes, feeling the wind in our hair and the crisp air on our cheeks.
There is much to like about Halloween at Flyover Canada. It is family friendly, with a spook factor suitable for aged 4 years and up. If there was one thing I would change, it would be to make the whole experience last longer. It definitely left us wanting more.
