It’s fun to run into friends and neighbours when you go out and about in the community. With that in mind, here’s a rundown of family friendly Easter events in the Tri-Cities and nearby areas including Coquitlam, Port Moody, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, New Westminster and Burnaby.

One of our very favourite things, the Burnaby Central Railway opens this week! Take a ride on one of the longest miniature railways of its kind, featuring more than 3 km of track, and steam, diesel and electric trains. Fun for big kids and little kids too!

EASTER IN QUEEN’S PARK
Easter in Queen’s Park is a New Westminster tradition. Enjoy lots of fun activities: performances by the One Woman Circus, Sm:)e Band and Lyle Povah; a Flip, Flop & Fly Zone; petting farm; crafts and face painting, and get your photo taken with the Easter Bunnies (with a $2 donation).

This hunt will be an ‘eggcellent’ start to your Easter Sunday! A morning filled with activities, entertainment, and the search for the “Golden Egg”. The lucky hunter will win a special gift.
