Safe Breaker, Age 6+

How does this game work? Safe Breaker challenges players to break into the safe by cracking the code. To start the mission, players pick a card and turn the safe combination to match the number on the card.

Next the player uses the fingerprint scanner to test the code. If the light goes green, the safe will release some coins. If the light is red, hear a top- secret clue to deduce the correct combination code. Watch out as police can be alerted with the discovery of police coins. The spy who collects five golden coins or two diamond coins first wins the game.

Review: This is a fun game for kids that’s easy to learn and entertaining for a games night that includes kids of all ages. I would actually recommend it for age 5+.

Where to find it: Safe Breaker is sold at Target in the United States for US$24.99  and in Canada at Toys R Us and Walmart for CA $30.00

Break Free, Age 6+

How does this game work? In Break Free, up to 4 players will handcuff themselves together while fitting a maze into each handcuff. The game includes three maze colours that change the level of difficulty. Using the lock pick, players pick the lock to get out of their handcuff as quickly as possible. The fastest spy to break free from the handcuff receives a token that gives them points. After playing all three rounds, the player with the most points wins.

Review: Break Free can be played with 2-4 players; we think playing with more players is the best! It’s a fun challenge to try to become the first super duper spy in the group to pick the lock on your handcuffs. If you choose the advanced level maze for your cuff, mom or dad might have to bail you out if you get stuck!

Where to find it: Break Free is sold at Target in the United States for US$19.99  and in Canada at Toys R Us and Walmart for CA $25.00.

Disclosure: We received these two games for kids from YULU Games for review. All opinions are my own.
