Last weekend, I ventured out to the movie theatre with my tween son and his friend to watch Godzilla: King of the Monsters. I didn’t have any expectations but we were really blown away by this movie. I am going to call it the perfect movie for tween boys and anyone who is into action movies.

The plot featured an interesting, family oriented story that was absolutely jam packed with action and visual effects from start to finish. It’s not gory by any means although I think it is probably too scary for sensitive younger kids who would be bothered by loud monster battles.

My tween rated it as a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Definitely a must-see movie for tweens!
