Today I am reviewing one of my new favourite things – boots from EMU Australia! I was lucky enough to receive boots for both myself and my son to try out for fall and I love, love, LOVE them!
My son says he wants to wear his Little Creature Lady Bug Blue boots (left) because they are, in his own words, “good” and “look so cozy” and he doesn’t care that they are a size too big and will fit better next year. He’d just like to wear them all day long.
I think the Little Creature EMU designs are great for kids with their fun, colourful prints and Australian animal motifs. Choose from a croc, clownfish, or lady bug. The Little Creatures boots are listed at $95 dollars on the website which is a definite splurge. But don’t despair because I did a little looking online and found prices starting at $60 for toddler and kid styles on Amazon.com and I even found EMU infant boots starting at $24.
With the change in the weather to cool fall temperatures, I have just started wearing my new EMU Hobart boots which are both comfortable and fashionable. My mom friends ooh’ed and aah’ed when I wore them out to our book club meeting last week. This particular model is made of leather but has the signature sheepskin lining that my son loves so much. There are a ton of great women’s boot styles on the website ranging from $199 to $329. I would also recommend shopping around online because I saw many great deals on Amazon.com for half that price which is very affordable for any mom!
EMU boots are made from quality Australian wool and sheepskin, pure and natural materials, and are biodegradable and renewable. Other features include: double stitched seams, a moulded heel cup, durable sole, and they are totally water resistant.
