The New Red Robin Kids Menu and a Giveaway

“I want to go to Red Robin!” That’s the plea I hear from my 6 year old son when it’s time to choose a restaurant for a special night out. Red Robin is right at the top of his list. So I was interested to hear that there’s a new Red Robin kids menu which is officially launching in June 2015. At a reasonable price point of $6.49 and $6.99, the new kids menu includes a selection of entrees along with bottomless sides and beverages, and an ice cream sundae for dessert.

I think my son is going to like the new entree choices which range from grilled cheese sandwich bites to pizza and burgers (beef, chicken, or veg) to meatball lollipops and grilled chicken on a stick. Old favourites like mac and cheese and chicken tenders are still available thank goodness albeit with fresh new names – “Mac it Yours” and “Cluck-a-Doodles”.

A limited number of Really Hungry Kid entrees are available featuring bigger portions for $7.49 or $7.99.

We are looking forward to visiting Red Robin this weekend!

And I am delighted to be partnering with Red Robin to give away a $50 gift card to one of my lucky readers.

  1. The Kids Love Hometown Buffet, Because They Have Lot’s Of Options And Can Help Make Their Own Plates.

  2. My son still loves McDonald’s or Burger King, but only the ones that have playplaces *lol* We don’t go very often, but he’s pretty tired when we leave from all the running around!
Also, my husband and I’s first date was at a Red Robin. <3

  3. DD loves Red Robin, or ‘Birdy Restaurant’ as we have called it for years, and our local Chinese restaurant is another favourite – she likes the buffet, and when she’s going through growth spurts and eating more than I am, I like them too! She loves noodles, so spaghetti at REd Robin, and Won Tons at Sky Dragon.

  4. My kids have a few favorite’s! They love Boston Pizza, Mr. Ho’s (Chinese food) and Dai Tung for dim sum.

  5. My dude loves Red Robin, the usual fast food chains, and one of the local Indian restaurants. He’s got a wide variety of faves. He does love the Mac it yours at RR – our kids menu changed recently, maybe it was a trial roll out? He loves the new menu.

  6. We love Red Robin! We were there recently and my son tried the meatball lollipops. And he actually ate his whole dinner! This is a pretty picky kid who doesn’t eat much when we go out, so we’re all super happy he’s found something he likes outside of home. 🙂

  7. I will have to try Red Robin with my son, haven’t thought of them before as we normally do White Spot. Those prices are really reasonable too 🙂

  8. My son is very hard to take out to eat. He has autism but it seems he will tolerate Wendy’s and sometimes McDonalds. He hasn’t been to Red Robin but it is worth the try!

  9. Red Robin is my son’s favourite restaurant, because it’s super kid friendly and it has the only thing he will eat: grilled cheese!

  10. OMG, the kids luv red robin for the fries. Divine. . Wow, prize $50 gc is fab. & splendid. 2 fingers snap. It is tight, fly & off the chain. Thank you for the awesomeness, the contest, and generosity. 🙂 Pick me, pick me! Dear Santa: I’ve been nice. My X-Mas wish this year is to win this contest. Starving artist here desperately needs the gc to shop and eat. A life changing exp.

  11. Whenever I take my daughter shopping she always wants to stop at Red Robin for lunch, I think she would eat ANYTHING off their menu!

  12. My kids like to go to Denny’s! They like it because they can order breakfast for dinner if they want to, & they get crayons & activity sheets.

  13. Our grandchild Likes our local White spot
cafe for their children’s Pirate Pack.
great giveaway gc. Red Robin would be
    perfect for kids too.

  14. My grandson loves going to Chuck E Cheese, he loves pizza and the games even more. My son loves The Mustard Seed because of their Big Island Wings.

  15. We love Pizza, and Pizza Hut has been having such great deals on their Pizza, that we have been going there, but we love Red Robin for their burgers and endless fries!

  16. Sadly, the kids love Chuck E Cheese above all others. Clearly they love the games and overall “frenzy” of the place. I’ve learned to hit the salad bar and carry some Advil in my purse.

  17. I’m not a parent, but my family’s favorite is a locally run Mexican restaurant called Celia’s. Red Robins is a great place too!

  18. My kids are a huge fan of the Asian Garden we have near us, they love the atmosphere of the place and all the cool decor. They also love getting the fortune cookies after the meal. And they love the food.

  19. How about my niece? She’s four and her favorite restaurant is Applebee’s, I think because it’s familiar. I need to get her accustomed to Red Robin because I love the Keep It Simple Burger and the Freckled Lemonade.

  20. My grandson that lives with me half the time with his mom love three restaurants. Arby’s, Subway, and Red Robin. Arby’s because he loves their Roast Beef and cheddar, Subway because he likes their subs, and Red Robin because he loves their burgers and fries and their ice cream. He’s 5 and a great eater but when you ask him where he wants to go it’s usually one of those three places.

  21. She loves chuckecheese because of the games and buffet style restaurants because of the different desserts

  22. They will enjoy many types of food including Japanese, Thai, and Chinese. Their favorite restaurant is Mandarin.

  23. Her favourite restaurant is Joey’s Fish and Chips because she is currently obsessed with fish tacos.

  24. My grandson loves On the Border because an ice cream sundae comes with the child’s meal. And IHOP because, well pancakes.

  25. My boys love going to a Chinese buffet. They love being able to get their own plates with whatever they want!
